
Steinbeisser Experimental Gastronomy
Steinbeisser Experimental Gastronomy challenges the contemporary eating culture. It brings together renowned chefs and artists to create a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. Steinbeisser challenges chefs by limiting their choice of products to ingredients that are entirely plant-based (vegan) and sourced from local organic and biodynamic (Demeter) producers based in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The artists, invited to create cutlery and tableware are, in turn, challenged to work entirely outside of their field of expertise. The resulting tools celebrate experimentation and encourage new ways to enjoy food.
I had the pleasure and the challenge of crafting press releases and invitations for Steinbeiiser 5th anniversary event. An unprecedentedly different in is set up and radical in t's approach to food and design, this event needed a crisp and clear call that would still do justice to its many layers.
